How do I take an on demand cuff measurement?

You can take an on-demand measurement using the Hilo Cuff whenever you want a point-in-time reference reading.

Before you begin:

On-demand cuff measurements are available after completing the initial setup, which includes several successful calibration measurements over the first few days.

To take a measurement:

  1. Make sure your cuff is fully charged

  2. Turn the cuff ON

  3. Open the Hilo App and go to the Measure tab

  4. Select Take Hilo Cuff measurement

  5. Follow the instructions in the app

During the measurement:

  • Remain still and relaxed

  • Avoid speaking until the measurement is complete

The cuff will inflate automatically and guide you through the process.

After the measurement:

  • Your result will be displayed in the app

  • You can find your cuff measurements in the Insights tab under Cuff readings

  • Select See all readings to view your full history

Cuff measurements are also included in your reports and are clearly marked as reference measurements.

The app will guide you through performing an accurate cuff measurement.

>> Please remain still and refrain from speaking during the process.<<

The cuff will inflate automatically to take your blood pressure measurement.

After your measurement

Once your measurement is complete, your result will be shown in the app.

You can view your cuff-based readings by:

  • Going to the Insights tab

  • Click on your Average Blood Pressure

To access your full history, tap See all cuff readings.

These cuff readings serve as reference measurements within the Hilo Core system and are presented alongside your longer-term trends to support overall understanding.
